Hey you,
I’m Amelia. And this is my tumblr.
I’m 19. I live in the most northern part of Florida possible. I wish I could have gotten out of here for college, but money completely prevented that. I’m far from the average height of a woman my age, probably just about an inch and a half away from 6 feet. I have a mostly love with a dash of hate relationship with my curly locks. I’ve put up some photos of myself on here, on a page without a direct link on the main menu bit. So if you get really curious you can just follow this link - (Here you go).
My diet and lifestyle choices and how they help to define me: When I was 12, prompted, in part, by the smart grown-up friends my then 17 year old biggest sister had - haha, and by the suddenly disgusting idea of a chicken patty cafeteria sandwich, I became a full on vegetarian; only putting dead animal meat in my mouth accidentally a few times, which was always inevitably followed by a bolt to the nearest sink and so heavy gurgling and water swishing. But lately, or not so, I’ve transitioned into veganism. I read something once, probably around age 15, some famous vegan actor said about the pointlessness of being just a vegetarian when veganism was the step to take to truly help animals and the environment. And again, something just clicked and I was like okay fuck that, I can’t stand the idea of dairy cows living torturously horrible lives and being a consumer to that. And because I was already abstaining from animals, their by-products, and the green, animal loving, and generally good and strong principles of a vegan lifestyle came naturally.
Tumblr name origin: Do what you like, like what you do is from the “Life is Good” collection of shirts, mugs, and whatnots. I saw this on a label a few years ago, and loved it. It’s one of those roundabout phrases that surprisingly make sense. It’s not that I particularly like or dislike the company, but the phrase itself got stuck in my head, and when I started my tumblr however long ago, I was prompted to put it to use as a title, the face of my tumblr.
A bit of a disclaimer: My tumblr is for grown-ups. I’m almost twenty years old and if the nudity bothers you, fuck it, it’s my blog.
My posts: I’m choosy about what I post to make my page aesthetically pleasing. I like not adhering to a certain theme, after all this is, above all, just a personal blog, but I do like my post to serve some type of purpose, to make some type of statement. The point is, I do put thought into my posts and I hope it shows. Once in a while, I fall in love with some photos before I post them, especially with places or snaps of certain situations. I imagine myself living those, being there; and being blissfully happy.
If you’re wondering about something else, just ask, nice comments kind of make my day, but please do be kind, I’d really hate it if you weren’t.
